Why pH Matters

Soil pH is the single most important factor in nutrient availability.

Most lawns in our area have acidic soil (low pH), which locks up nutrients even if you're fertilizing regularly. Here's what you need to know:

Ideal pH Range: 6.0 - 7.0

This is where grass can absorb the maximum amount of nutrients from your soil and fertilizer applications.

Too Low (Acidic): Nutrients become "locked" in the soil and unavailable to grass roots

Symptoms: Thin, yellow grass that doesn't respond to fertilizer, moss growth, persistent weeds

The Fix: Lime application raises pH and unlocks nutrients already in your soil

Our Approach: Free pH test with every new fertilization program, lime included if needed

Real Talk:

We've seen lawns transform from thin and yellow to thick and green with just pH correction—no fertilizer increase needed. That's why we test every lawn before starting a program.

What to Expect: Results Timeline

Weeks 1-4: Initial Response

Grass begins to green up, especially if pH was corrected. You'll notice healthier color.

Months 2-6: Building Density

Grass thickens as roots strengthen. Weeds have less space to establish. Color deepens.

Months 6-12: Full Results

Dramatic improvement visible. Thick, lush turf that crowds out weeds naturally. Deep green color.

Year 2+: Maintenance Mode

Continuing the program maintains premium results. Your lawn becomes the neighborhood standard.

Remember

Lawn transformation is a process, not an overnight change. Stick with the program for best results.
