Our Cleanup Process

1

Property Assessment

We walk your property and identify all areas needing attention—beds, gutters, drainage areas, and problem spots.

2

Debris Removal

We use a combination of blowers, rakes, and tarps to efficiently remove all leaves, sticks, and organic debris from lawns and beds.

3

Bed Edging & Trimming

Clean, defined bed edges and trimmed perennials give your property a polished look and prepare beds for mulch.

4

Haul Away & Disposal

We haul everything off your property for proper disposal or composting. No piles left for you to deal with.

5

Final Inspection

We do a final walk-through with you to ensure everything meets our standards (and yours). We'll discuss any recommendations for upcoming seasons.

Education Corner

Why Fall Cleanup Matters More Than You Think

Leaving heavy leaf cover on your lawn all winter can cause serious damage and set you back next spring.

Snow Mold & Disease

Wet leaves trapped under snow create the perfect conditions for snow mold and fungal diseases. Come spring, you'll find dead patches instead of green grass. Prevention is way easier than treatment.

Crown Smothering

Grass crowns (where new growth emerges) need air circulation through winter. A thick mat of wet leaves cuts off oxygen and smothers grass, killing it before spring even arrives.

Delayed Spring Green-Up

Even if leaves don't kill your grass, they block sunlight and warmth in early spring. Your lawn will green up 3-4 weeks later than it should—and your neighbors' yards will look better in the meantime.

Vole Damage

Voles (meadow mice) tunnel under leaf cover and eat grass roots all winter long. Heavy leaves give them perfect cover to destroy your lawn. We've seen lawns with literal tunnels running through them come spring.

Pro tip:

Light leaf cover can be mulched with a mower and left as natural fertilizer. But heavy accumulation—especially from maples, oaks, and other large trees—needs to be removed. We'll tell you which is which.
